COVID-19 has had a massive impact on my business but I'm pleased to say that I've been able to make the most of the situation.
I would like to express my thanks to all of you that trusted the virtual appointments, discount vouchers and my online courses. Because of you all, the last 3 months have actually been quite an enjoyable learning curve.
But I'm ready to make another start and hopefully pick up where many of you halted your rehabilitation. I'm really hoping that you've been able to keep up with your programmes at home. If not, don't worry, it's never too late to pick it all back up again, and get yourselves back on the road to recovery!
But it doesn't have to mean a sedentary lifestyle, elimination of exercise, impact and lifting or a definite slot on the surgeons waiting list. I'm hoping that this newsletter will help to define vaginal prolapse, symptoms, treatments and hope for your future lifestyle. I'll be linking in to useful podcast episodes, lifestyle changes and exercises to help you move on from the fear and disappointment you may be feeling right now.

Accepting Pelvic Organ Prolapse with Hayley Shevener

But they're also desperate to find a solution, they want to be able to live the lives they love, achieve their dreams and goals without being held back by poor pelvic health.
Over the years in clinic, I have seen the benefits of a structured programme that deals with pelvic health issues from a whole-core perspective. From 'head to the toe', as it were. From breathing restrictions to weak abdominals and poor posture to pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, there's often more than one reason and...
Every page seemed relevant to my clients, especially those who struggle to keep up with their pelvic floor and core programmes which I or their personal trainers had previously prescribed.
Lockdown has changed our normal life routines and I often wake up wondering what day it is. Time seems to fly by each day, even when I feel I've done loads!
James Corden said of his experience in lockdown in L.A. "I'm awake and then I'm asleep and the cycle continues".
So, for some of us, the days merge and routines are lost.
For others though, the days are busier than ever. Work continues, maybe you're on the frontline (THANKYOU!!) or maybe you're completing the 'behind the scenes' admin to help the NHS and key workers (THANKYOU!!), maybe you're trying to work from home while caring for your kids (WELL DONE )!!
We all have seen a change to...
